Michelle Chackerian is CREA’s Executive Director, former Board Treasurer and a member of the organization’s founding Board of Directors. Michelle first came to Limón many years ago with her family and immediately fell in love with the town’s people, community, and passion for life.

As CEO of Newbury Consulting Group since 2005, John founded, grew and sold three technology consulting firms before retiring in 2021. John now focuses on applying his business skills to help nonprofit organizations in the US and Nicaragua with strategic planning, fundraising and finance. John serves as an Advisory Council for The Roberto Clemente Health Clinic and CREA and is “founder” of the Los Cocos Community Organic Farm. John also leads the Entrepreneur Initiative.

Julia Guth has been the CEO and Executive Publisher of The Oxford Club since its inception in Baltimore more than 34 years ago. She is also the founder and Executive Director of the nonprofit Roberto Clemente Health Clinic in Nicaragua. Julia is also on the board of Relief International.
